Billie Knipfer

Billie Knipfer is a freelance multidisciplinary strategist and design with extensive experience developing brands and communications for companies large and small. She works with marketing experts and clients to problem-solve business challenges and to create marketing solutions that have an authentic purpose and impact.

Billie works directly with clients as well as with national marketing teams on a variety of project types. She currently collaborates with Chicago digital design agency Method Engine as well as Chicago brand and interior agency Marquardt+.

Projects include competitor/market analysis, strategy, logo/identity design, original content creation, print design/packaging/promotions, digital marketing (web, social, apps), sales tools/pitch decks, and built environments (trade shows, interior architecture). Regardless of the medium, Billie creates striking, concept-driven designs that differentiate clients from competitors and deliver clear messages and intent.

Her clients have ranged from solo entrepreneurs to large national and international companies. Billie has worked across multiple industries, some of which include banking, carpet/flooring manufacturing, construction, entertainment, fine art, food & beverage manufacturing, furniture manufacturing, insurance, mobile phones, non-profit, and retail (food, clothing). A few of her former clients include Motorola, Gucci, Johnsonite Flooring, and the U.S. Mint. Each client has unique challenges and objectives, so Billie adapts and creates design processes that are customized to their specific needs and budgets.

Billie studied graphic design at the University of Central Missouri and abroad at Imperial College in London. She also received a master's in communication sciences from Missouri State University in 2013.

Billie lives in St. Petersburg Florida with clients located across the U.S.
